The Canadair Bombardier Regional Jet CRJ-200 is a short-range narrow-bodied aircraft that Northwest Airlink put into service after the acquisition of Republic Airlines in October of 1986. It is powered by two General Electric CF34-3B1 engines that each produce 9,220 lbs of thrust. The CRJ-200 was operated out of Minneapolis, Detroit, and Memphis and continued to serve until the merger in 2009 with Delta Airlines who continues to fly a few of them under Delta Connection.
